Folded aluminium shaped into sculptural furniture. Recycled polymers transformed into expressive surfaces. Cabinets that keep a little mystery behind their clean lines.
Rimalto Design brings these ideas together through a belief that exceptional design belongs in everyday life. We choose pieces with character, material curiosity, and thoughtful function, making distinctive design more accessible without losing what makes it extraordinary.
Our collection follows two creative paths, united by a fascination with materials and thoughtful design.
Our aluminium and concealed-storage furniture begins at our drawing table and takes shape in Zagreb. We design every piece, defining the alloy, the dimensions, and the precision of each detail. Custom sizing is built into that process: a change in proportion, not a new beginning.
Recycled polymers find a new expression in panels and furniture, where colour, texture, and form become part of the same story. Carefully selected to sit alongside our own designs, these pieces explore the beauty of transformation and bring a distinct material character to everyday spaces.
We believe the beauty of a piece lives in its details: the way a surface catches the light, the balance of its proportions, the quiet purpose behind its form.
That same care shapes how we tell its story. We share what we know with clarity, giving you room to choose thoughtfully and imagine how each piece might become part of your everyday life.⠋
Most of what we make is made to order, so there is usually more to talk about than a product page holds — dimensions, colour, quantity, lead time. Write to prodaja@rimalto.hr or call +385 91 7538 900. For orders outside Croatia, export@rimalto.hr.
Rimalto is a Zagreb-based company that designs aluminium and secure-storage furniture and imports recycled polymer panels and furniture from European manufacturers. The legal entity is Rimalto Grupa d.o.o., Ulica grada Vukovara 269d, 10000 Zagreb. Rimalto Design is the brand the products are sold under.
Partly. The aluminium range and the secure-storage furniture are designed by us and manufactured to our drawings in Zagreb. The recycled polymer panels and the furniture built from them are made by European manufacturers and imported by us. Each product page says which.
The aluminium and secure-storage lines are made in Zagreb. The recycled polymer products are made by European manufacturers; the country of origin is listed on each product page.
The aluminium and secure-storage furniture is made to order — nothing is held in stock, and the lead time on each product page is production time rather than dispatch delay. Recycled polymer products are supplied from stock or on order depending on the item; the product page states which.
For the aluminium and secure-storage ranges, yes. Every piece is drawn parametrically, so a different width, height or depth is a quote rather than a redesign. Send the dimensions and we will come back with a price and a lead time. Recycled polymer products are supplied in the sizes listed only.
Aluminium pieces are supplied raw as standard, with powder coating in any RAL colour at no additional charge. Secure-storage furniture is faced in any decor, colour or texture the board manufacturer offers. Recycled polymer products come in the colours listed.
Cost and transit time are confirmed per order, because they depend on the size and weight of the piece and on the destination. Contact us with your address before ordering and we will quote it.
Yes, across the EU. Write to export@rimalto.hr with the item and the delivery address. For intra-EU B2B orders, tell us your VAT number so the invoice is issued correctly.
Yes, from Ulica grada Vukovara 269d in Zagreb, by prior arrangement. We confirm by email when the piece is ready. There is no charge for collection.
The lead time is on each product page. For the made-to-order ranges it is production time and it starts when the order is confirmed, not when payment clears. If a specific date matters, tell us before ordering and we will confirm whether it is achievable.
For consumer distance sales within the EU, you have 14 days from delivery to withdraw. Goods made to your specification — a custom size, a custom colour, a non-standard configuration — are exempt from that right, so a made-to-measure piece cannot be returned simply because you changed your mind. Standard configurations can. If something arrives damaged or not as described, contact us regardless of configuration.
Check the packaging before signing for it. If there is visible damage, note it on the carrier's delivery document at the point of signature — a claim without that record is difficult to pursue. Photograph the damage and contact us within 48 hours.
Yes. Cafés, restaurants, offices, fit-out contractors, architects and joiners. For project quantities, custom dimensions or a repeat specification, contact prodaja@rimalto.hr rather than ordering through the site — pricing and lead times differ at volume.
Dimensioned drawings are available for the ranges we design, for specification and tender documents. For the aluminium range we can send an offcut so you can see the raw mill finish before committing. Ask when you enquire.
Some of what we sell is made from recycled material, and we state that where it is true. We can provide the manufacturer's material documentation on request. We do not make broader environmental claims, because a claim we cannot substantiate is worth nothing to you and is a liability to us.
