The things we sell are not new. Folded aluminium furniture, recycled polymer surfaces, cabinets with a compartment that does not announce itself — all of it exists in Germany, in Italy, in the Netherlands, in the United States. Designers there specify it without thinking about it.

In Croatia you could not buy any of it. Not easily, not at a sensible price, and in most cases not at all. That is the whole reason this company exists. We did not invent a category. We noticed one was missing.

We do two different things and it is worth being clear about which is which.

The aluminium and the secure-storage furniture are ours. We draw every piece, specify the alloy and the tolerances, and have them made in Zagreb. That is why a custom size costs a quote rather than a redesign — the drawing is a set of parameters, and changing one is a different number, not a different project.

The recycled polymer panels and the furniture built from them are made by European manufacturers who have been doing it for years and do it well. We import them, hold them, and sell them here. We did not make them and we do not claim to.

Every product page here says what the thing does not do. The aluminium marks with fingerprints before the surface settles. The polymer softens well below the temperature stone tolerates. The concealed compartment is concealment, not a safe, and it will not stop someone with tools.

None of that helps us sell. It is on the page because the alternative is a customer who finds out after the box is open, and we would rather lose the order than have that conversation.

If a specification is missing from a page, it is because we do not have it verified yet — not because it is bad. When we have it, it goes up.

Do you make your own furniture?

Is everything made to order?

The aluminium and secure-storage furniture is made to order — nothing is held in stock, and the lead time on each product page is production time rather than dispatch delay. Recycled polymer products are supplied from stock or on order depending on the item; the product page states which.
Can I order a custom size?

For the aluminium and secure-storage ranges, yes. Every piece is drawn parametrically, so a different width, height or depth is a quote rather than a redesign. Send the dimensions and we will come back with a price and a lead time. Recycled polymer products are supplied in the sizes listed only.
Can I choose the colour?

Aluminium pieces are supplied raw as standard, with powder coating in any RAL colour at no additional charge. Secure-storage furniture is faced in any decor, colour or texture the board manufacturer offers. Recycled polymer products come in the colours listed.
How much does delivery cost?

Cost and transit time are confirmed per order, because they depend on the size and weight of the piece and on the destination. Contact us with your address before ordering and we will quote it.
Do you deliver outside Croatia?

Yes, across the EU. Write to export@rimalto.hr with the item and the delivery address. For intra-EU B2B orders, tell us your VAT number so the invoice is issued correctly.
Can I collect in person?

Yes, from Ulica grada Vukovara 269d in Zagreb, by prior arrangement. We confirm by email when the piece is ready. There is no charge for collection.
How long does an order take?

The lead time is on each product page. For the made-to-order ranges it is production time and it starts when the order is confirmed, not when payment clears. If a specific date matters, tell us before ordering and we will confirm whether it is achievable.
Can I return something?

For consumer distance sales within the EU, you have 14 days from delivery to withdraw. Goods made to your specification — a custom size, a custom colour, a non-standard configuration — are exempt from that right, so a made-to-measure piece cannot be returned simply because you changed your mind. Standard configurations can. If something arrives damaged or not as described, contact us regardless of configuration.
What if my order arrives damaged?

Check the packaging before signing for it. If there is visible damage, note it on the carrier's delivery document at the point of signature — a claim without that record is difficult to pursue. Photograph the damage and contact us within 48 hours.
Do you supply to businesses?

Yes. Cafés, restaurants, offices, fit-out contractors, architects and joiners. For project quantities, custom dimensions or a repeat specification, contact prodaja@rimalto.hr rather than ordering through the site — pricing and lead times differ at volume.
Can I get drawings or samples before ordering?

Dimensioned drawings are available for the ranges we design, for specification and tender documents. For the aluminium range we can send an offcut so you can see the raw mill finish before committing. Ask when you enquire.
Are your products sustainable?

Some of what we sell is made from recycled material, and we state that where it is true. We can provide the manufacturer's material documentation on request. We do not make broader environmental claims, because a claim we cannot substantiate is worth nothing to you and is a liability to us.
