Every concealed drawer has the same tell: a drawer front. However well it is fitted, there is a line where the front meets the carcass, and a line is what someone looks for.
RNI-0003 has no front. The shelf itself is the drawer. It sits on a plate fixed to the wall, and the whole volume slides forward on ball-bearing runners when it is released. Closed, there is nothing to read: five faces of continuous board, no handle, no gap, no shadow line. It looks like a solid wall shelf, because from the outside that is all it is.
Present a magnetic key or an RFID card to the top face and it releases. The card is specified when you order and there is nothing on the surface to indicate where it should go — you know, and nobody else does.
The runners are industrial ball-bearing slides and they are visible when the shelf is open. That is deliberate. A concealed mechanism would mean a lighter-duty runner, and large unit carrying its own weight plus contents needs the load rating more than it needs the runner hidden.
Melamine-faced board, in any decor, colour or texture the board manufacturer offers. All visible edges carry edgebanding — not the foil used on flat-pack furniture, which chips at the corner within a year and shows the core underneath.
Made to order in Zagreb. Specify the decor and the lock type when you order.
